Added two 12" cleats to bow. Got tired of chafe on teak and docklines. I have same cleats amidship, just fwd of the genoa cart track.

Craig,

I noticed that your boat used to be a cutter. That ring of fasteners (filled in) on your foredeck was the mount for the self-tacking staysail.  You didn't happen to get that item when you bought the boat did you?

Yep, that is exactly what the ring of holes represents.  The boat did come with that pedestal, hank-on staysail, and standing rigging for staysail, but no other hardware.  Instead of recreating the clubfoot, I removed the related hardware and installed 4' tracks on the coach roof for the staysail.  It works well. I just need a winch and a rope clutch on the stbd side of the companionway for the stbd staysail sheet. All i need a size around Lewmar 30 or so. Right now they lead from coachroof tracks, to toe rail, then up to the secondary winches (I have four total in cockpit).

I removed it about 2 years ago and kept it until I decided that I really don't want it. Well, I don't need it and am happy with the loosefoot.  Are you looking for one?  It's in good shape, just some pitting on the under surface of the flange that contacts the desk, the gooseneck spins freely.
