Does anyone know the diameter of the forestay? I can't figure out how to measure it without disassembling the furler. Thanks!

On a 365 ketch the head stay is 5/16" diameter. A little heavy  but prudent.

On my 365 Ketch (hull #6) my uppers and split back stays are 5/16" but my Jib forestay is 1/2" wire. The turnbuckle on the forestay is massive.  2' long with 5/8" thread and pin diameters. I hank-on and have run into trouble with sail lofts. Most head sail hanks are to small to fit over 1/2 wire.

Yikes, Pete, that's a big forestay! We ended up ordering 5/16" for the forestay and back stay and splits. Our uppers are 9/32. We up sized all the mizzen wires to 3/16 since 1/8 seemed a bit wimpy to us.
Dave's still working on chainplates. He has all the new 1/4" thick mizzen ones made. Most of the main chainplates cleaned up nicely and look in good shape. Working with stainless that thick is no fun, so we are putting them back in unless they fail inspection.
Thanks for the information!
